Kołobrzeg is located at the mouth of the Parsęta River, among coastal forests, in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship. It is the fourth largest urban center in the region. The nearby mud deposits make the city a popular destination for patients, not only from the western part of the country. The city also often hosts foreigners - mainly Scandinavians and Germans. Mainly diseases of the upper respiratory tract, circulation and joint diseases are treated here.
Numerous monuments also encourage visitors to visit Kołobrzeg. Among them are e.g. the Gothic St. Mary's Basilica or the neo-Gothic Town Hall. It is also worth seeing the remains of the fortifications of the Kołobrzeg fortress.
